Our Practices

Grass fed & finished – our cows are born on pasture for spring, summer or fall calves.

Winter calves are rare but are born inside and all calves
diets consist of their mothers milk, and as they get older,
pasture hay. They are kept together and wean naturally.

We track genealogy and pedigree records on our cattle, including breeding information.

Our animals do not receive added hormones. We raise our cattle here on our farm and use a local, family-owned USDA approved processor.

The meat is dry-aged for 10-14 days to provide excellent tenderness and flavor.

We raise Angus cattle. They are a hardy, docile breed known for their adaptability and excellent maternal instincts. Post-harvest, they produce high-quality, well-marbled beef that is prized for its tenderness, rich flavor, and consistency.

We use rotational grazing practices for our herd to ensure nutritional needs are met at every stage. We do not use antibiotics to increase weight or promote growth in our herd.

The only need for antibiotics is if one of our herd is sick and would need it for treatment.
