After months of anticipation, the house has been set onto its new foundation, and the basement walls are poured—what a relief! We’re thrilled to be one step closer to the start of renovations and can’t wait to share more as things begin to take shape. It’s been super cool seeing this 100-year-old home find its new spot on the farm, and we’re filled with gratitude watching this dream continue to unfold.
While all of that has been happening, Luke, Ty, and Grady have been putting in some serious work over the last few weeks, including the 4th of July weekend. Between second cutting hay, baling straw, cleaning out the waterways to prep for new fence, and getting the new fence up, they’ve kept the momentum going despite the 90-degree heat. They also moved the cows out to the south top hill pasture—and let me tell you, the girls are loving the fresh grass and open space. It’s been a hot couple of weeks, but as always, the boys have powered through and the hard work is definitely paying off.
